The Princess Diaries is about a girl named Mia who finds out that she is the princess of a small European country called Genovia. Being a princess isn't as fun or easy as someone might think, because Mia has to take lessons with her grandmother, and deal with people's reactions when they find out.
I liked this book a lot, and I am continuing with the series. It was interesting to read about what it would actually be like to be a princess in the real, modern world. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend.
